ZOOM CLASSES RESUME TUESDAY 5th JANUARY
Zoom (online) classes and subscriptions
If you have not practised with me before, it is essential that I know more about you and your yoga experience. Please contact me to discuss what will work best for you; send a message telling me what yoga you’ve done in the past, if any, and outline your general health plus any injuries or medical conditions you have. If you are totally new to yoga I can arrange a short 1:1 chat with you on Zoom before deciding the best way forward for further practice.
Tuesdays: 9am: Yang/Yin practice, half hatha half yin, mixed level
Tuesdays: 6.30pm Intermediate Hatha – for more experienced students, stronger asana practice and elements of flow yoga
Wednesdays: 9am Mixed Level Hatha: between beginners and intermediate, but a little less flow yoga
Fridays: 9am Yin, mixed level - suitable for beginners and more experienced students. Yin is a form of yoga where the focus is on working into the deeper tissues of the body, i.e. the joints, fascia (the connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber and muscle in place) and ligaments, rather than the muscles. It is a mainly floor-based practice and is versatile to all levels of flexibility. As poses are held for minutes rather than several breaths, this is a very deep and nourishing practice which also helps us to get fully in touch with our mental and emotional state as well as our physical one.
In addition to the above classes I provide two half hour recorded classes for termly or weekly subscribers, and an extended live class of Yin and Restorative yoga on a chosen Saturday in the term, free for termly subscribers, or weekly subscribers of the week in which the class takes place; dates for these Yin/Restorative classes are listed in the term dates section below.
Once you’re registered with me I will send you the links for classes you want to attend via email, giving you access to the Zoom Room!.
January 2021: Classes will continue on Zoom, both Zoom recordings and Zoom live classes, until we can meet again in person! For news and information about classes ongoing, please keep an eye out, I'll keep you updated on this website, on social media, or you can sign up below to receive email updates.
